Velocitties is an ensemble that makes technology-driven music. The group performs collaborative original works of varying genres such as lofi, synth rock, and avant garde. Being just a stone’s throw away from the Moog Factory, Velocitties takes inspiration from cutting-edge innovations in music technology both past and present.

Not only is Velocitties a commercial music group, but it is also an educational entity.

The performers are students enrolled in the Tech Ensemble course at Western Carolina University. If you’d like to join, you can audition to become part of WCU’s Commercial Music and Audio Production program. You can even receive private lessons in music technology performance by joining the Performance Technology Studio, for which you may audition here.
